Hi, this is my first post! Anyway, I am looking for a pen pal for 2 of my boys.
My oldest is 9 1/2 (he insists I put the 1/2). He loves NASCAR, go cart racing, trains, cars, Nintendo DS (or any video games for that matter). Hes not a huge fan of sports, but does currently play soccer. He is still weak with his writing and I'm hoping a pen pal will help, not to mention meeting kids in other areas. It doesn't matter if he has a boy or girl pen pal. My son is really interested in someone who has Aspergers. He is on the spectrum, and very mild (some don't even realize he has it). He mentioned the other day he wishes he knew someone else who has it and could be their friend. he will write to anyone, Aspergers or not.
My other son is 6 and is new to writing. He is interested in baseball, soccer, video games, riding his bike and is the family practical joker. He is hoping to learn to snowboard this winter. He loves music, and can be a bit of a social butterfly.
This is our first year of homeschooling, they both have been in public school, but are thriving at home! (not to mention how much we as a family love it!) I would love for them to know other homeschoolers. Thanks so much!
