Another Simply Spelling Q re: placement (if you please!)

I just got my copy of Simply Spelling today. After looking through it, I realized it doesn't really give suggestions for placement. I have a 3rd grader who will obviously start at the beginning. I also have a 4th grader who is struggling a bit w/ spelling. Should I start him at the beginning as well? Then there is dd11 (6th grade) who is a strong speller. Where would I start her? Thanks for your suggestions!

A -3
B-4
C-5
D-6
E- 7
F-8
G-9
H-10

Start the lower two on A, if your 4th grade shows that Level A is too easy, bump up to B. I'd start your 6th grade on Level D and see how it goes- bump level up or down depending on she does.

Well, your guess was my guess and it makes sense, actually. Level H could be 10 - 12 or other levels could be combined. I think I'm just going to do what you suggested b/c it does makes the most sense. Thanks again.
