I have only bought one other new couch and it was a completely different style. I don't know how to explain other that it is just really POOFY. The seat and back cushions are just full of air. Will this compress sooner rather than later? I like the overall appearance of the couch. It is comfy and the right color. It just looks ODD when nobody is sitting on it. I ordered it from the Rooms To Go website without actually seeing it in person. I have 48 hours to decide if I want to keep it or send it back. Thanks!

It was a good thing because over time it did definitely compress (with 5-6 kids and all), so it will extend the life of your couch, perhaps. I think that it would depend on what kind of stuffing it has? I remember being taken aback when it was first delivered as well. After a year, we had it "restuffed" even and it was returned all "poofy" again. It definitely flattens out over time. HTH

Let kids jump on it , and a large dog wallow on it, and it will unpoof pretty fast.;)

Is there a zipper you can unzip a little-- to let some of the air out? Is it poofy all over?

I am getting the kids settled with lunch and then I will try to post a picture.

It fixed quickly. It turned into a normal sofa.

I tried to post a picture in this post, but it kept failing. I put a picture on my blog. It doesn't really show how poofy it is though. My dh came home for lunch and said it will be fine. I guess I will just believe him because this couch was the right price and I don't think I will find anything else very quickly.
