Can non-members read the messages on this forum?

I've referred a couple of my friends to current threads that might interest them. It suddenly occurred to me that they might not be able to access the posts without signing up. I understand that they wouldn't be able to post, but can they read messages?

Does anyone know how that works?

Yes, they can.

They can't see the member list, etc, but they can read the posts. (The posts are all findable on Google as well - great outreach, but it can be easy to forget this is not as private a space as it sometimes feels.)
