In the recent math thread you mentioned all the reasons you like Thinkwell. Do you mind telling what courses you've used? Do you use them alone or with a textbook alongside? Problems you've found? Dd needs something that reviews a lot and has plenty of practice and focus on understanding--very non-math minded. Would you say that it fits these criteria?

Thank you for any input you may have!

Ds used Thinkwell's Beginning Algebra, along with another text. It's super for lecture, but the video and workbook contain essentially no review. So, one has to align it with a textbook to get review and reinforcement.

We're currently using Thinkwell Biology lectures along with Campbell and Reece Biology.

BTW, we switched to Chalk Dust for geometry. It's great. Good lectures, very complete textbook and plenty of review. It’s already coordinated with a text.

Ds is going to continue with Chalk Dust next year for math (algebra 2) and we'll continue to use Thinkwell as part of biology (we just started that course). I anticipate using Thinkwell lectures for other topics in the future, such as government and other science courses. But, I'll coordinate each Thinkwell course with a textbook. HTH, Hilary
