Hi. We are currently using http://statehistory.net/ for our States History and Geography and for US Geography. For US Geography it also gives some brief information about the state and it's history.

I also like this one called Star Spangeled States. http://www.knowledgequestmaps.com/prod5.htm

If any of you are familar with these books I have a question for you.

Do you know of a WORLD Geography/History (just some basic info on the area being studied) type of book that is similar to these?

They are stand alone, easy to use, not needing alot of supplies and extra books. And when you are finished completing these books you have a nice book to keep that YOU didn't have to put together by notebooking. It's all laid out for you and you just color, read, cut and paste and fill in a few blanks.

Thank you.

I received a free ebook called Globalmania that I plan on using next year. It's from Knowledgequest's website. It is designed to help you master world geography in 7 months. I think it was on a freebie directory from The Old Schoolhouse Magazine. Free is always nice! :)
