Looking for books for elem age kids about writing plays...

or...even just how to put on a play - or examples of simple plays in general.

Our 3 dd's just love putting on these short skits for dh and I. They dance and sing and flit to and fro and call it a play. I'd like to harness their creativity and explain more about how people go about doing this. We are going to go see their friends in one in the next week or so.

Do you know of anything out there online or library bks geared for young kids?

I'm not sure this is exactly what you're looking for, but we have a book called "Act it Out" by Bernice Wells Carlson. It's an old book--the copyright date is 1956, but we really like it. There's another book listed by the same author called "The Right Play for You", which is probably also good.
