I've made up my mind - I am taking Spring Break!

I was going to school through this coming week, even though all my kids friends will be out of school, but I really think the vacation is needed right now. It's not that things aren't going well, because they are. We were on track to finish the year by the end of May. I am just in a funk right now, my attitude stinks, and I think I need a break in the routine. Besides, it is very likely that we will be babysitting friends.

So, I think next week I'll load up the crew and plan a couple of field trips, visit friends, and basically just play :001_smile:

I'll make the announcement when dd finishes her school work for the day.

Sounds good. And you know, field trips do count as "school"! (So you can feel like you are multi-tasking - spring break and some school all at once!) :driving:

then dh and I both got sick last week and HAD to take off the entire week b/c I could barely get out of bed! Now, we're back to just doing basics b/c my mind is so NOT on schoolwork. Hopefully once this baby comes...we can get back on track and have a productive rest of the year. Have an awesome break! :D
