Hello. I just registered with this forum with hope that my husband, daughter and I would find other families who are home-educating their children with a classical curriculum. She will be 6 in September and loves to play and learn with other children who are closer to her age. She particularly needs more girlfriends. We live in a cohousing community that is populated with lots of boys. All of the home-schooled children are older than she is. The only girls are around 15. Though her local school has indicated that she is eligible for Kindergarten this year because of the August 31 birthday cutoff date, I plan to begin teaching her the first grade curriculum. I live around Berlin, MA.
