I'm trying to plan out our next few years and am having a tough time trying to get in all the ridiculous required subjects PA deems necessary. This is our first year hsing (last 2 years we were with a cyber and previously public school). So, I have a ds9 (4th grade) and dd11(6th grade) whom I am most concerned w/ at this moment. Here goes:
Dd11 did American History last year w/ the cyber. That requirement is fulfilled for her. Ds9 will need some Amer. Hist. by the end of 6th (end of elem. level). We are doing Ancients this year w/ MOH. Plan to do MOH2 or Diana Waring next year. Dd11 has had NO World History until now. When do I do American? Should I do Amer. w/ my ds9 when we reach it in the context of world? That should be when he's in 6th grade or so.
Okay, I can see this is getting very long. Any PA homeschoolers who wouldn't mind just emailing me? LOL! I have a LOT of questions! TIA. My email ssgerdes at clearviewcatv dot net
