Hello again. Lesley here with a new screen name. I am finalizing our books for next year. We are working on ancients. I found one of these books through a thread on this list. I found the other through amazon. Do they go together? It looks like one is the textbook and the other is the student workbook. I couldn't find a teacher's manual with answers though. I will need the answer keys.
Thanks for reading.
Lesley

Nan in Mass or Joan in Geneva, do you know about the answer key or teacher's manual for these. I tried searching Hatier's site, but was having no luck. Could be the computer I'm borrowing from my mother.
Thanks,
Lesley

I don't think so, because the dates are so different. The teacher's guide should look more like this:
http://www.amazon.fr/TD-Fran%C3%A7ais-Histoire-professeur-transparents/dp/2218729709/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1279977754&sr=1-8
This is not the same edition as the teacher's guide for your 2004 book, so it wouldn't work; I'm just trying to give you some idea what it should look like. If it works like the books I have used (I have no idea at all if it would since I haven't seen many of these), the student book will text and excersizes in it. My guess is that the cahier (the second book you listed) is a workbook with extra questions in it, but that it doesn't match the first book. The livre du professeur may not be available via amazon if the book is the current edition in use, since it contains the answers. You may need to order it through a bookstore or the publisher, or you may need to try to find a matching set from an older edition. I would be very leery of trying to mix dates/editions.
Sorry - that isn't very helpful. I did a search for you on amazon of the author and livre du professeur and that is how I found the one in my link.

Okay, I'll look again now that I know how it's labeled. I haven't bought the book yet. So, I can get all the same edition if I can find all the "parts".

Lesley, I've been on vacation in the US and am finally back. Did you find the answer book for these? I don't have it but would be interested myself.:001_smile:
Also, the two links you provided at the beginning are basically for the same book. The second is just a newer edition. I have a version of the first but for 5e. It has texts from that period (5e is Middle Ages, so it has Middle Age texts) with comprehension questions. I was actually looking for 6e, but the Amazon.fr search engine did not work very well for me. So thanks for the links!

Joan, thanks for the reply. I am going to use the CNED online sans tutor. She thinks that it'd be better for us because my dd is used to the format. The online version has the evaluations, but I don't have to send it on a schedule. :D
I have questions on conjugaisons that I will ask on another thread to keep like topics together.
