If I don't want to quote their entire post, but only part of it, how do I cut, paste, and attach this into my post?

Hit the quote button.
The new post page will come up with the quoted post in brackets.

It will look similar to this but not exactly. I took the "T" out

Now to quote part of someone's post take out the parts (highlight and backspace) you do not want in there before you hit Submit Reply.

I thought there might be a "trick" to it, but I guess not!
