Ds received notification that he is one of 30 recipients chosen by our denomination's state convention for its Student Achievement Award. Winners receive a scholarship of $1000 per year. Ds was nominated by our associate pastor and had to submit an application, a couple of essays, his high school transcript, and 3 letters of recommendation.
