is 10! My darling little boy is 10 years old today! YIKES! Where did the time go?
I put up a history in pictures on my blog. Stop by and see how my dear boy has grown. (I finally figured out how to scan and some other things to put these on so I am proud of myself for that!)

My ds turned 10 last week too. I'm sad and happy at the same time. I miss having a little boy but on the other hand I'm excited to see the person that he is becoming.
It is a year of milestones for our family this year. His older sister turned 13 last week too and my oldest dd turns 16 in July.

My oldest son is nine today! I can't believe it. I don't think I'm one of those moms who will let their children grow older gracefully. But, thankfully, he still loves to hold my hand and sit in my lap! And, my baby will be six in a few weeks!

I am not making a cake. His favorite dessert is Banana Cream Pie. Rafferty's restaurant makes a killer one with white chocolate shavings and a huge layer of whipped cream. He would LOVE to have that pie for his birthday. He doesn't know that's what we are getting, so he will be thrilled! Me too. It is an awesome pie!
We are going to a Japanese steakhouse for the "grill show" on Sunday night. He'll bring a friend or 2 along for his "party". He wanted to do something more "mature" now that he's 10. Of course, he still smothers me with affection and loves to snuggle with his momma. He is so excited to be "entering his 2nd decade", as he likes to remind me! LOL!

Awww, happy birthday to yours as well! My baby will be 7 in June. It does go so fast.

I know exactly what you mean. I looked at pictures yesterday and got all misty and nostalgic. He is a really cool young guy that I am thrilled to have in my life.

Thanks. He is having a nice day, I think. We did not do lessons today. I needed to do a bunch of things anyway.

I'm not ready for TEN. How come your ten yo looks so big and like such a fine young man, when my nearly-ten is *very clearly* just a hair over, oh, say, five years old? ;) (I was going to chant "I'm not ready" over and over again, to the tune of the Mexican Hat Dance. But decided to just do that part in my head. Feel free to join me, though, if you want.)
Wow, it goes so. darned. fast, doesn't it? He's absolutely adorable (though I'll leave a comment on your blog for him that doesn't include that word! *grin*) I hope he has a happy, wonderful, fantastic, adventurous year being ten!! (And way to go on the scanning!)
