I can open up the house a wee bit and let the pollen in. Things are blooming, birds are chirping, and the kids want to stay outside. Love this weather. Just don't get any hotter for a long time. Love the cool mornings and evenings and warmer days. Ahhh, glorious spring!

And the forsythia bush is about to bloom, too. Forsithia. Forsethia. that green bush with the tiny yellow flowers.

Yes, ours is in the same way. And the redbuds are full on too. What is funny is that the hickory trees look totally dead. They are among the last to put on leaves around here. Every year, we start looking at them thinking, wow, we need to do something about those dead trees. And then they pop out and we curse them for their horrible bounty of nuts that pelt you unaware when walking around the yard.

Gladly will share the pollen with others. We have more than enough!!

but it still feels to cold to enjoy most of it.

We look outside and see all these flowers, but it's all a big deception! We turn around and run in and have to throw on a sweatshirt.

Enjoy your beautiful day. We are still patiently waiting here. Snow yesterday and again sometime tomorrow. My poor, poor tulips.

I'm sorry, that made me snort my coffee. Our lovely front porch is covered with a greenish-yellow dusting this morning. Spring has sprung! This is one of my favorite seasons in the South, though - the cool, crisp evenings and mornings, the lovely, gentle warm days... it's just. about. perfect.

We're getting a taste of it too! Sunday it was 70! Yesterday it topped out near 60. Today more of the same. But, we're expecting SNOW this weekend. Grrrrrr . . .

Enjoy the weather!!!
