I printed it out some weeks ago but the printout didn't have the poster's name on it. I made them today and they were a little ugly, but very tasty.
As my sweet DH says, now I have another skill in my tool box. :)

Ummmm. . . this is a violation of a board rule, I believe. Thou shalt not post about a recipe without actually posting THE recipe!!!!
Seriously - I'd love it if you have time to type it out. It used to be worth it for me to buy them. But, Trader Joe's tortillas just increased in price by over 20%. Now I want to make them!

Yes! That is definitely a violation! This recipe must be shared or I believe there are fines....

:D So as not to forfeit my increased grocery savings from making said tortillas in fines for violating board rules, here ya go:
Tortillas
4 cups flour (I used fresh ground whole wheat, but unbleached bread flour is mentioned in the original recipe)
6 T oil
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt
Mix flour and salt and add oil. Gradually stir in water, only as much as you need. Knead briefly until smooth. Divide into 16 equal pieces, shape into balls and let rest covered with a towel (I've read plastic wrap is good also) for about 30 minutes.
Roll each ball out to 8-inch circle on waxed paper, then peel off. In heated but ungreased skillet or pan, cook for about a minute on each side. Place on plate and cover to keep warm and soft.
My sincerest apologies to the OP for the liberties I took with your recipe!
