I have a question about rep too.

Ok, let's say I wanted to buy something on the For Sale board. How could I tell if someone had ever received any negative rep, and what the negative rep was for?

I mean if all we can see is a little green square, couldn't a person have received some neg. rep and we wouldn't know unless they had recieved a certain amount, right?

I don't think rep can be used for the sale boards. It's expected that people will make positivie and negative posts after they receive their items so buyers can search on the seller's name (using "advanced search"). However, my bet is that 95% of the time buyers don't think to post after they receive their items.
