How to embed a link in a word?

I can insert a link, but can't figure out how to ebed it in another word.

Type the word first.

Copy your link like you would normally do before pasting.

Highlight the word where you want to embed the link.

Click the button with the globe and link directly above the text box.

Paste the link there.
