and especially if you have a smidge of tendinitis in both wrists, do NOT demonstrate kicking up into a handstand for your budding gymnast in the living room. Repeatedly.
That's all.

Sigh, I have done that too. Not smart. And don't demonstrate a cartwheel without making sure that your legs are stretched. They have not been stretched exactly like that in over 25 years and jumping right into a cartwheel is not a good idea.
But I do miss tumbling. It was so much fun! Sadly, I would end up in traction should I try ANYTHING these days.

Well, considering that even in "my prime" I couldn't do those things, I don't think there's a danger, but....
if you haven't lifted weights in a while, you might want to take it easy when you go back to the weight training aerobics class. Yes, I'm SOO sore today.

Last summer I was astonished that my boys had never heard of or seen a cartwheel. Fool that I am, I decided to give a little demonstration.

They still haven't seen a cartwheel.

I did the cartwheel thing too. Funny! I felt young enough to give it a go. But, well.....:001_huh:

I feel your pain, sister! I rebroke my elbow 3yrs ago doing roundoff-backhandspring. 40 year old body shouldn't do a 10 year old sport!!
Feel better soon :)
Oh my! :grouphug: Giggling just a little though...:D
And I must say, I love the frequent tips around here...LOL
