I am in Nashville, IL just east of St Louis. I am planning on my first HS year this fall. Anyone near me?? I saw a super old thread of someone in Mt. vernon. I shop there every week. i am sooo looking for some local support!!!

It's so lonely out this way! Maybe we could meet in Salem sometime? Do you know if there are any homeschool groups out that way? We're about two hours from you.

I know it is a little ways for you, but there are several homeschool groups in St. Clair county - Belleville/Fairview Heights area. The biggest that I know of is SCCCHE (St. Clair County Christian Home Educators). Depending on how much you are willing to drive this way, they do field trips, monthly meetings, and a weekly co-op. I believe there are several other groups that are curriculum specific. If you'd like any more info, I'd be happy to help.
