I'm not sure if this have ever been posted here before, but I thought some might find it useful. It is an American history curriculum with a literature and unit study approach written for perhaps 2nd grade -4th graders. It is put together by a homeschooling mom for her children. Lots of books listed, schedules, activity suggestions, internet links etc. You can download the curriculum as a PDF or an editable word file!

Hope this is new and helpful to someone.

Thanks so much! Wow! I feel like I could just sell WP AS1 and save $ by doing this instead.
I also like the resources she pulls in for CAW.

You're welcome! I've been using this myself for the past couple months with my 7 and 9 year olds. I usually write my own plans but felt a bit burned out this year and was ready to do AS1. Finding the Los Banos page really saved me time and money! We don't use all the resources for every topic, but that's the great thing about this curriculum...there are enough things to choose from so you are likely to find books and activities that suit your children.

Thank you so much, Michelle! That looks absolutely amazing! I wasn't quite sure when we were going to do American History, as we are only in SOTW 1 now. After seeing this, I'm thinking we might spend some time doing this alongside SOTW 2 next year.

Thank you again so much for sharing this wonderful (and FREE!! :D) resource!

Thank you for posting this. I have been searching for this. I used some of their things in the past and my computer crashed about a month ago and I lost all of my favorites. Thank you so much. You are a life safer.

(3rd grade). I will be adding TQ for extra readings, plus to add a spine (Guerber), since we like to work with a narrative spine. Love, love, love this curriculum! I only wish they had one for the following year of Amer. History! It will save us a ton of money and time.

Thanks! This is a great site. I was looking for something on animal classification - I'm definitely going to use their cards when we cover it.
