I'm thinking about continuing Biblioplan for years 5-8, but I have a few questions. Do you outline as suggested by WTM? What kind of spines do you use? Do you have the child read the spines independently or do you do it as a group? Do you do discussion of the readers? If so, how do you know what to discuss? Any other information would be great! Thank you!

I am starting this cycle as well. Yes, I am planning to have the children outline the spines, but first I am having them do the outlining workbook SWB recommended in the revised WTM. I am also working with them on taking notes/outlining sermons in church ; ). They still do narrations on some of the readers, but I don't make them do too many because we are doing Classical Writing and they get practice there too. I am not requiring written narration either because of CW. I will probably have the children read the spines independently when they are doing outlining and together when they are not (I will probably alternate them outlining spines with CW assignments). I feel that using CW takes some of the pressure off accomplishing too much outlining in history class. If I were not doing CW I would be doing a lot more writing/outlining in history class.
