Has anyone here read "Between Parent and Child" by H. Ginnott??

I was skimming it last night and had MANY "ah ha" moments. I see so many examples from my own family in the book (the what not to do kind).:(

I really want to read it carefully and learn how to get from here (cutting remarks, judgmental attitudes, etc.) to there (real support, building up, etc.)

I am going to buy my own copy so I can mark it up and share it with my dh.

I read it a few years ago after our pastor mentioned it in a sermon and said it had been helpful in his own parenting, at least seeing things he wish he had done a little better. I enjoyed it and did find helpful things there. I found it similar in many ways to Ross Cambell's "How to Really Love Your Child".
