Considering Sonlight Core 7 for two sons. Anyone use it?

Please share your insights with me about Sonlight Core 7 as I consider buying it for my two middle grade sons. I am just not up to the booklists at the high school level in the Well Trained Mind. I have also discovered over the years that I do best when applying a scheduled curriculum. I can adapt just about anything as long as I have a plan in front of me. Getting the courage to write out the plan in the detail I need is just too much for me with 6 sons--17, 15, 12, 8, 6, and 2.

Anyway, I would appreciate any advice or opinions you could share.

We did Core 7 last year and it was fantastic. I adapted it for my 8th, 6th, and 3rd graders.

I also do much better with a plan in front of me that I can change at will.
