Ladies, we should all meet up sometime. Anyone up for a visit to the Corning Museum of Glass this spring or summer? Anyone have another idea for a place to meet up or something fun to do? I know there are some fellow hs'ers in Ontario Canada who might be willing to meet us in Niagra Falls sometime.

Linda, We just moved to Corning three years ago. Before that we lived in Apalachin for 15 years. Small world! Do you live out that direction or are you the other way from Binghamton? Come to Corning anytime. We'll be happy to show you around.

the Glass Museum is great. Did you know you get a big discount if your local? We've done this and wandered the Rockefeller museum all for just the cost of the parent passes. Very family friendly.
Nice to meet another local.

We are moving to Allegany County, to a smaller township near Wellsville. There are homeschoolers down there somewhere, right?

We are so far upstate it's easiest to go to Canada for a big day out.:) We are in the Potsdam area and are used to driving long distances. It would be fun to get together.

My in-laws live in Wellsville. It is very very rare to see anyone familiar with that area. :D (We visit a few times a year, we live in VA)

I just joined this board yesterday, and I thought this would be a good place for me to jump in! We have one DD, age 7, and are in our third year of homeschooling.
We live in Oswego, and are quite willing to travel- weather permitting!

Confirms my suspicions, we are moving to the sticks of the sticks. Well, at least there will be WTMers nearby several times a year :p

Are you a member of any of the LEAH groups or HEE? THose are the 2 most active groups around your part of NY.
Take care.

We are located in my glorious hometown of Syracuse, NY, where it's currently a balmy 45 degrees and, oddly enough, the sun is shining. Wow.

We live just outside of the city of Rochester. So glad to see so many WTM families here!
Quick announcement: If any of you are interested in Classical Conversations, they will be holding an information meeting in Rochester on Tues., Jan. 26. There is a possibility that a group may be started somewhere in our region in the next year or two! Send me a message if you'd like more info and I'll forward a flyer to you!
