Can I join the party? :biggrinjester:

I get to transplant all of my herb starts to real pots and repot several more tomatoes today, and I might get to planting my first lot of lettuce and spinach if I can get the beds ready. I just noticed a few minutes ago that my alpine strawberry seeds are finally doing something and our giant pumpkin seed is starting to sprout. :D It's so fun to see everything popping up and turning green! Although...I could do without the dandelions that have suddenly taken over my lawn. :glare:

Yay for spring!!

That is exciting. I haven't started any seeds indoors; I'm still unsure of my green thumb ability in that area! I would love to start strawberries this year. We are hoping to get a grape vine started.

I'm glad you are enjoying it too!!

Aw, you guys are torturing me!! We still have patches of snow where it was piled up. Don't even think of moving to Chicago.

We still have snow-covered fields here. The only thing that has bloomed are the crocus I planted over the septic system:001_smile:

Oh, I'm so jealous! If we had anything like that in our garden the deer would be munching away -- they come right up onto the porch to eat out of our tubs.

So, when are you having us garden-deprived types over for dinner?

Ha--We've had to fence the chickens out of the beds.

I still have to worry about the neighbors' dogs and stray teenagers who think jumping the back fence to use our yard as a shortcut is funny, no matter how many times we ask them not to. The other day, one of them nearly fell face-first into my newly tilled but otherwise unworked Three Sisters plot. It was extremely wet, and despite the compaction it would have caused (my new yard is all heavy clay!! :glare:) I was hoping he'd get a face full. At least deer aren't doing it with intent, just hunger.

As for dinner...would it really be worth the drive? :D
