Even though we are now in Kansas my family on both sides lived in Chicago for over 100+ years. I was born & raised in St. Charles. My husbands family is in Geneva/Elmhurst and I have family in Newark, Cary, Lake in the Hills, and just about every other suburb. :)

we are life-long residents currently afterschooling right off interstate 55. We have easy access to Springfield, Bloomington, Decatur, Peoria, and Champaign.

We are right in the city of Chicago! I enjoy having lots of things to do and all sorts of people to meet. I have three children of my own ages 9, 6, and 4, and up to three other kids in emergency care in my home at any given time. Up in Woodstock, with 5 year old son, 1 1/2 year old daughter, and baby due in February. So many of our playdate friends are in public/private school now! I'd love to meet some other homeschoolers in the area!
