Where can I get a journal that has both lined pages and

blank pages bound together? I want the dc to be able to write (on the lines) and then sketch (on blank) in the same journal. I only ever find one or the other.

I don't know about journals, but I've seen "writing tablets" that way - with about half the page blank and about half with lines for writing. Maybe check an office supply store?

There are a couple of sites on the web that allow you to print custom lined paper. You could print one you like, take to staples and have copies made (just on one side so the back is blank) and have them either spiral or comb bind it for you. I know it sounds like a pain, but sometimes it's easier to make-it-yourself than spend a bunch of time looking for just the right thing.

The site listed below has single lined paper and also the double lines with the dashed line in between. You can adjust the spacing and other options such as line color. The site also has Cornell Note-taking paper.

back before Christmas. One side of the page had lines and the back didn't. They are out there, you just have to look. There are also a number of notebooks that have a half & half page. hth
