I don't have specific series favorites, other than Spanish. Have you tried just running a subject search on your history or science topic and then sorting the results by grade?

I found some interesting science related ones for my 1st graders this week. Junior Environmental Scientist, Junior Zoologist, and a few others like that, plus a neat one on "Living and Nonliving Things" and "Solids, Liquids, and Gases" (This one had several nice worksheets, too.). I was just paging through the science topics for k-2 age range.

My kids also really like the Magic School Bus videos.

Oh, and we really like The Number Crew for early elementary math concepts. Several of the episodes (which involve puppets inhabiting a cruise ship and getting into all sorts of trouble) correlated nicely with strategies we have been learning in RightStart Math, which is a nice bonus!

Looking forward to hearing what others have to say, as I always feel that there is even more good stuff out there that I just don't know to search for, KWIM?
