Anyone Else on Spring Break?

I just realized I've been posting up a storm :) Y'all will want me to shut up! My excuse is ... the PS's are on spring break this week and my labor-intensive younger son is taking the week off from school. I wasn't sure we could pull this off, because he took a week off when my DH had out-of-town surgery in January but we haven't taken any snow days or "records days" like the PS's, and I calculated last week that we could take this week off, three days in April for testing, and still finish up on May 16!! So I guess I've got a little spare time on my hands :)

Spring Break....what's that? :tongue_smilie: Here spring break for the PS was two weeks ago and what we did was spend the time to catch up on math....sigh.

The blessing is that we discovered that we were way ahead in Bible and History so we dumped them off the plate for two weeks (yes, I know that makes me a heretic), a week ahead in Spanish and a week ahead in Physics. And DS did three, count em three maths per day for the first week and two maths per day for the second week to get caught up....it was not fun.
But, the beauty is that we are now caught up, actually had a weekend without school and should be able to finish on time.

And the really great thing is it was ds's idea to do this, not mine....I think the lad is growing up.

I'm taking a break from Spring Break (last week, three days of baseball camp, baseball practice, hockey practice, and a weekend baseball tournament in Las Cruces--they lost. Oh, well. It was warm and fun). I'm exhausted, and I'm glad to be back on the routine.
