I am looking at using the CHC's pre-k/k program while supplementing with some other materials (from Kolbe or Seton most likely). However, I am flipping through their free "course plans" and I looked at their checklist for "kindergarten readiness" and dd has 85-90% of the skills already, i think she will be ready for most kindergarten work next year, however CHC doesn't seem overly rigorous/thorough even in the higher grades has anyone used CHC's curriculum with their accelerated preschool/k-er

Just some thoughts. I've been trying to figure out what to use with my kids for a while. One thing about gifted kids is that they are often advanced in some areas but not in others. This makes using a program, especially in the younger years, difficult. I've found that for the preschool age trying to create a routine and just doing some educational games or activities is just perfect. So instead of buying curricula I've been getting books with game and activity ideas.
I need to get going now but I will come back later to finish.

Have you looked into Mother of Divine Grace (http://www.motherofdivinegrace.org/)? If I ever decide to enroll in a Catholic ISP, that's the one I would probably choose since it offers the greatest flexibility. Enrolled families have a teacher assigned to help them choose the most appropriate curriculum. I also love Laura Berquist's book Designing Your Own Catholic Classical Curriculum.

I am going to check out DYOCCC but I wasn't overly impressed with MODG. I am loving Kolbe and Seton (though not so much the literature portion of Seton). I am still fiddling with MODG's website, it's not super user-friendly for me, can't find quite what I am looking for.
