...to buy stuff of just to sell stuff? I'm thinking it's just for selling but want to be sure before I start browsing the for sale area and find something I can't live without;)

hello,
When buying things like clothes, set a rule for yourself that you can only buy something new, to replace something you already have. For example, from a practical point of view, let’s say you need to have 15 business shirts. Set a ‘budget’ of having 15 shirts, and then when you want to buy one, first throw away (or give to charity) the worst of the other. Can’t make a choice which one to throw out? Guess what: you won’t need a new shirt.
Before buying anything, think ‘how many of those do I need?’and ‘how many do I already have?’, then think again if you really need a new one. The same applies to electronics and all sorts of other stuff (want a Playstation 3? Sell the Wii / blueray player / old laptop / etc. )
Applying the rule will have two benefits: less drawers and closets of stuff you still want to keep but never use, and spending less money because you’re more conscious about what you already have.
thanks!!

That's very good advice! Ironically, I made it to 50 posts before I saw something I couldn't live without:lol:

I'm working on the 50 post myself so I can sell some curriculum. Thanks for the reminder!:001_smile:

It looks like you made it:001_smile: I was expecting it to take a lot long to get to 50. I guess I can't keep my mouth (or hands;)) shut so I got there much sooner than expected and am not ready to sell anything:lol:

I would like to sell too. Thanks for posting this so that I can reply.....which means I think I have 29 posts now (that sounds like I'm cheating though :blushing: ).
Here's a Q I have about posting sale items. Where do we post them? I thought is was this board (where this particular post is). But I see up at the top there's a Sub Forum for Selling. I thought maybe this board (the one we are on) has FS and WTB and the Sub Forum would have that separated. But.......the sale items listed in the Sub Forum are different then what's listed here. So, I'm confused (and anyone reading this maybe is confused by my trying to explain it...hope you know what I'm trying to say). Soooooo......where do we post for sale items.....which board??

April,
You're supposed to post on the sub-forums. If you pop over there, you'll see they are getting more responses than the ones over here. As a matter of fact, I've never seen so many posts over here:confused:. I guess they are usually moved over to one of the sub-forums by a Moderator.
Blessings!

Thanks for the help....I probably would have ended up posting at the wrong place.

Trying to get my 50 posts here too! I read more than I post, which should be a good thing in some cases!

Please do not attempt to circumvent board policies in this way.
