I'm new to the forum and thought I'd say, "Hi.":001_smile: I have 5 children ages 2 to 16, two of which have special needs. My 6 yodd was born with cataracts and has glaucoma, nystagmus, amblyipia, anisometropia, etc that cause her to have low vision (distance vision affected much more than near). My 3 yodd was born with a cleft lip and palate. So far her speech issues have been quite minor, and (oddly enough) don't seem to caused by her oral clefting (more of a general delay as she has all the sounds that are difficult for cleft kids to make).
I've found quite a few speech resources that I really like. Straight Talk (from NATHHAN) and Small Talk (from FIAR) are for generic speech issues while Linguistics has a book series out that is specifically for children with oral clefting.
