We played this for the first time tonight. Cute game! A little confusing to figure out at first, but fun. We did teams each with a kid and an adult. One of the funny sentences:

Nuclear promgowns noisily tooted. Bwahaahaa!

Oops, ds corrected me on the funny sentence. It was: Nuclear promgowns endlessly tooted!

Generally, we do them during road trips. They certainly help pass the time in an amusing way. Love the nuclear prom gown sentence! Bwahahaa, indeed! :D

games as a kid. We always played them on road trips. Next time we go anywhere I'm definitely buying some. I can't wait.

You're talking about the card game, aren't you? We have that and get a real kick out of it. It's a great review for simple parts of speech and fun to play. We also really like the Madlib tablets (stories).

I wish I had invented those!

Mad Libs are a great way to play around with teaching the parts of speech painlessly. :) Our four year old even takes part. The two year old tries, but she usually parks on one word and wants it used in every instance. ;)

We own the card game, but I've never opened it! Perhaps I should pull it out today while we're overcoming sickness in the house.

Us too! Dd received it for Christmas, but we keep forgetting to play it.

Thanks for the reminder. It sounds like fun! :)
