I use it for everything! The powdered soak is better than the spray-on kind. I don't think I've had any stains not come out, even old stains, although I haven't tried it on mustard.

ntDid you try washing it after treating with the Shout? Shout doesn't necessarily make stains disappear on its own -- it works in conjunction with laundering.

That is so funny! I have a fear of mustard stains....I'll have to adopt your motto.

I used to buy Z'out online. Recently I bought a spray bottle at Target that is a combination of OxyClean and Z'out. This has worked great for me, although it may not be quite as effective as pure Z'out.

I love oxyclean. And the powder DOES work better than the spray.
I mix some powder with really hot water and rub it in good. This has taken out OLD red wine stains even!

dishwashing liquid (the kind you use for handwashing dishes, not dishwasher detergent) such as Dawn. One time when dd was a toddler she spilled ketchup over a good portion of a brand new dress. I used Shout, which has been our usually successful standard course of action for stains, but it didn't get rid of all the stain. I then decided to call the Shout helpline. The helpful person who answered my call suggested that for stubborn food stains I should try rubbing the stain with some dishwashing soap, as they were specifically designed to break up food residue. I tried it and it worked for the ketchup. I hadn't put the dress through the drier yet, though, just the washer. HTH.
