I want DD12 to do a formal literature study next year (8th) and I like the look of LL. She's read everything from LL8 and 7 so I think they might be boring. It's estimated that the next courses will come out this fall, but it could be later.
Does anyone now of an LL like curriculum maybe for 9th (?) grade?

LL does have high school courses available, for ex. American Lit. British Lit. Medieval Lit, World Lit. and 2 semesters of Shakespeare. Go to their website there are samples from each of these lit courses

it is the 2nd editions that are not available yet. But the 1st editions for all of the above are now available.

I feel like such so stupid now. I looked on their site but could only see that they we're coming out in fall 08, but there is a list of courses right there!:banghead::banghead:

Hewitt's Yahoo group - one of the authors stated that she doubts that a revised version will be ready for Fall of 2008. Also that when they do the revisions, it might be to bind the book differentlly and very little "major" changes in content.
