I just kicked our piano teacher of the house. I did it politely but I was so angry. He's a fine piano teacher for my 9 yo but he's terrible with my 12 yo (two very different temperaments). My 12 yo has been begging to quit but I told him he has to hang on until the end of the year because my dh paid a full year's tuition. Anyway, I feel bad because I think he's a nice man, he just didn't get on with my 12 yo (who is very moody this year and can be difficult.) I think he is used to working with older students. My 9 yo is very talented and driven, my 12 yo enjoys music and I'd like him to play a bit just to round out his education but he's just not at the same level as my 9 yo. I didn't want to get the same teacher for both but my dh went ahead and signed up the same teacher. Sigh. He might not even come back, anyway. I think he was so effronted.
Anyway, I didn't expect it to happen and things just blew up within a matter of minutes.
Ugh. I hate stuff like this.
