I've been trying to get one off Freecycle for two years now :blushing: I'm cleaning out the storage space above the kitchen cabinets, listing tons of stuff on Freecycle, and I found the thing, never used, behind the old (also never used) sandwich pocket maker :001_rolleyes:

My (then young teen) brother gave us a pocket sandwich maker years ago. He was so proud of this gift, felt very grown up giving his older, married sister an *appliance* bought with his own money. I didn't think I'd ever use it, but ended up using it to death when my older kids were little - they'd eat anything I threw in a "pie sandwich" for them. I should try to find another...

We use our sandwich maker too. The kids like to make pizza pockets. We probably use it a couple of times a month.

Add chopped pecans. I especially like waffles with half the liquid being flat (old) beer, with chopped walnuts and 1/5-1/4 of the flour as buckwheat. Yummmm
