I have spent evey free moment of this past week surrounded by history and Bible texts, trying to come up with my schedule of how to coordinate the two subjects next year. And I am finally done!!! I will be using SOTW1 and Usborne IL for the history and I coordinated all the chapters with sections from Vos's The Child's Story Bible and The Victor Journey Through the Bible. I managed to keep everything mostly chronological and so the lessons would be coordinated. Whew! My brain hurts! It only took 4 rough drafts to get it just right, but I done! And excited about next year. :D

It's a good feeling to get everything planned out in advance, isn't it? You'll love being able just to look at your list to know what to cover next!

I'll be thinking of you this week.
I intend to spend all of my free time with A History of the Ancient World (http://www.wwnorton.com/catalog/fall06/005974.htm) and Omnibus I (http://www.veritaspress.com/products.asp?dept=1071), planning and aligning my son's history studies with the literature and theology plans laid out in Omnibus.
