My ds wants to grow up to be a "dummy head"

And never wants to be smarter. Or so says he when it's time to start school. He announced today that whatever he learns is going to go in one ear and out the other so that he never gets smarter. He's not yelling or stomping his foot, but stating it matter of factly. So, should I laugh or cry? btw, he's 7.75.

Laugh... he will have forgotten what he said by dinner tonight. Has he thought of comedy as a profession?
Shoot my husband can't remember comments he makes from one day to the next.
