Ya know, every now and then our husbands shock us with the things they think about.

My dh and I were talking last night. He had a medical scare recently, and since his mother died suddenly of cancer two years ago, he's been facing his own mortality lately anyway. He said he was worried during his medical issue that he was going to have something awful and die young, leaving me with five children to care for, and leaving five children without a father.

Then he looks at me and says, "The whole time I was worried about dying, all I could think was, 'I wish I hadn't gone hunting so much.'":confused:

All this time I thought he was worried about life insurance, how I would manage, etc. and his real thoughts were how he hadn't spent enough time with the kids and me, because he likes to hunt.

Men...you never know what they're thinking, do you?

Oh! How sweet! Now the real test will be to see what happens during hunting season. Will he pass the test?:D No seriously, sounds like a keeper to me.
