Staying logged on

Is there a way to set how long I stay logged on to the forums?

I went to put something in the oven and was logged out when I returned 15 min. later.

Do you have it set to remember you? When you initially log in, there's a button asking if you want it to remember you. If you don't click it before you hit enter, you'll get logged out after a period of inactivity. Gmail will do the same thing to you.
