View Full Version : Abbeyej??? Drew??? Or someone re: Latin after PL for a 3rd grader?
I've been planning on LCI for my 3rd grader next fall to follow Prima Latina. Is this what you recommend? Or, should I be considering something else? My son is a very good student and has done well with PL, but he only knows what PL has taught, LOL! Any advice? Thanks!

Take a look at Lively Latin. I'm using it with my 2/3nd grader, but have friends who use it with their upper elementary kids too. Very fun, not to hard but not too easy. It's really good.
How is it different or better than LCI???? Can you tell me what a typical week looks like? It goes beyond PL? Thanks, I'm googling and searching this board now!

for third graders, depending on how much work you want to put in. LCI is lighter in grammar. I kind of like the sequence- Prima, LCI, LfC A, LfCB, Latin in the Christian Trivium myself, but that is just what I've found works well with my kids.
