What are some fun things to add to your blog?

I tried sitemeter.com but I must be doing something wrong. My reports say I have no visitors, but I know I'm having visitors because I get comments.

What are the "footprints" I saw written about in another post?

Daisy introduced me to Library Thing (http://www.librarything.com/). You can put all the books you are reading on it and cut and paste the widget after creating it using 'tools'.

I just took my library thing off because I thought the blog was starting to look too cluttered! lol. Since all the books I listed at library thing were art related I do have it on my other blog still which is all about my art teaching experience. I do like how you've arranged your library thing, Lorna, to include books you are reading this week.

I have a Bible verse of the day widget. If you do a search for "blog widgets" you will find there are many out there available to put on your side bar.

I use gostats (http://gostats.com/) for my counter. It is free. It won't give me specifics about who visits, but will give isps and neat things like countries and google image search phrases used to find my site. It is a fun little tool to have. By "footprints" we just meant evidence of who visited, like what country they were from, etc.
