Really would appreciate it. I'm thinking of enrolling ds in these classes come this September 2008.

Thanks so much.

Ds took the Moral of the Story and Meaning of the Myth classes a couple years ago and absolutely loved them--lots of good reading and lots of excellent discussion. The teacher is just great and interacts very well with the students in spite of the drawback of not being able to see them! I don't have any experience with the progym class, though I'm tempted to sign up ds#2 when he's ready.

How much time each week outside of the 1 - 1.5 hours class time was needed to do the work for the Moral and Myth classes?
TIA,
Brenda

Thanks so much Phyllis for your response. I'm planning ds's school for next year and narrowed it down to Regina Coeli and Potter's School's classes. I'm thinking of enrolling ds in Regina Coeli's Classical Composition and Meaning of Myth classes.

Would you happen to have any experience with Potter's School Junior High classes?
TIA.

Ds is a strong reader--I don't think it took him more than an hour or two a week to do the reading. He had a hard time not reading ahead! There were a few essays throughout the year, which would take an extra hour or two to write, but there may have been less reading assigned for those weeks. I didn't really keep track of time, since ds was always on the ball and eager to do everything he was suppose to. Wish he was that way about other subjects...
