Since I"m guessing Sarah is more interested in actually finishing her WIP than posting about it, I thought I'd take the liberty to start this week's thread.

My WIP is here

Good Soil (http://www.amylovesbud.blogspot.com).

I'd love to see what you are working on.

I can't believe it! Romy is going to love her special quilt from her big sister!

Isaac claims to want to knit a scarf for Theo, but neither one of us is really committed to it, so it hasn't happened yet.

Thanks for starting the thread. Right now, this is my Work in Progress:

(Please teach your children what a complete sentence is and why they should use them. Please.)

But hopefully tonight I'll have something more interesting to report.

That colorful sock is just the best!

And your unnamed project looks like it'll be lovely.

But my favorite was your "bedhead" picture. That's a riot.

Or is that just the way the needles are hanging?

Both your washcloths look great--too nice to use!

I am knitting my washcloth in the round, but dd is knitting hers flat. She was asleep when I took the picture this morning, so I didn't have one of hers.

And NO! They are not to pretty to use. Must use the handknits, and if I draw your name to win them, I will expect a signed statement saying you will either wash a dish or that cute baby with our washcloths, lol.

Very nice! I cannot get the hang of the knitting. I'm very impressed with the people who can do this!

Well, mycomputer has been doing very weird things last night and today. I can see your sidebars, but none of your posts. I'll try to look again later.

I figured you were frantically working on your baptismal gown trying to get done before this weekend!

I hereby solemnly swear to teach my children about the importance of the Complete Sentence.

Amy,

Were you referring to my blog? My dad is having the same issue with that! He can see my sidebars and can get to the picture album but cannot read the posts! Weird! May I ask what your internet provider is? I am trying to help him with his issue from afar. Impossible since he is totally computer illiterate. Maybe if your issue is the same, we cam figure something out?

thanks

Amy,

May I ask what your internet provider is?

thanks

We have AT&T DSL - I think. Is that the same as SBC? I can't keep it straight anymore.

YOu know, I was at your blog just the other day and it was fine. I wonder why that's happening.

That's what they have as well, I believe. I wonder if there is some caching thing that is going on regarding the provider. Would you mind trying something? Would you try to do a hard refresh on my page or a cookie and cache emptying to see if that makes a difference? I tried to explain it to him, but honestly, your Romy would have a better understanding of the terms!

thanks!

I posted mine. I'm impressed with everyone's knitting. Dd and I have done about one inch of the bear she's supposed to be knitting. Neither of us are really patient.

You can see my project here (http://jenniferseverywhere.blogspot.com/2008/03/wip-wednesday.html).

I vaguely remember this project update thread starting but I think I was swamped with "projects" at the time.

I don't have anything tangible to post this week but I'll watch for the thread next week. We're working on a few things, including civil war ball gowns and arrangements for a musical performance in April - though that's a little bit more difficult to "show".

I want to make my youngest a little dress for her birthday in May too.

I love all the knitting. Someday I'll see if I can get inspired to finish the pot holder I began a couple years ago.

I wish I were a good sewer. I keep trying to get into it seriously, but, alas, no. One more reason to retire early!

The trick is to take off the grate before you try to get in!

Well, here it is...

That is stunningly beautiful! I am utterly jealous.

Oh, sorry, those were complete sentences...

Very lovely gown. So envious. ;)

Is there one for this week or did I miss it?
