I have a non-mathy dd finishing up Algebra I. She has been advised by friends that she does not need Alg. II to prepare for the SAT but will need to know some geometry. I've read on this board that the SAT has no geometry proofs so I am wondering if we can get by with Key to Geometry to prepare her. Thing is, I already own it and don't really want to spend any more money on a geometry curriculum if I don't really need to. She's planning on majoring in music in college.

Keys to Geometry is learning by construction. I am not sure that it points out the "tricks" well enough to be a solid base for the SAT. I would suggest picking up a SAT Prep book and pay particular attention to the math section.

What about this site: http://www.khanacademy.org/index.html
It seems very thorough and covers what will be on the SAT.
