I'm not bashing dh, but he and I have recently started attending counseling. Tomorrow is our first day together. I'd just like some prayers that it goes well, and that he is open to suggestions from the counselor.
Dh was diagnosed some years ago with borderline personality disorder. It is coming to a head of late and we just really needed some intervention from someone who could help sort it all out. I just want him to be open minded and things to go well.
All my kids are seeing the counselor as well to help them deal with what all has gone on and just to help them overcome any underlying issues they have with their father (1st dh). Apparently it jump started 16yodd because she had some words for her real dad this evening and pretty much just unloaded on him. These are things I know she has had stuffed inside for years!
Anyway, prayers for the whole family would be greatly appreciated as we navigate through unchartered territory!
