Yes, I am self-taught. And it is a mix of pastels, oils, chalk and some blending oils/rakes. Then some filters are applied to age it and give it a certain look. :)

I'm working on some alterations of animal drawings. I have a few cat photos that I intend to draw(hand, not manipulate) in an unusual style. I saw something on tv last night that intrigued me and I want to give it a shot. They won't be traditionally drawn images of animals though, they'll be from MY perspective. :)

No, no one has commissioned me from here. I volunteered to do that, with permission from Sarah, just to put up on the site. If she wants to buy it, that's one thing, but no one has actually commissioned me to do anything yet. :(
