I have had a lot of challenges recently but luckily he's not one of them. He has been my rock and I really don't know that I would have made it through the past few months without him. Our marriage is great and I was in no way trying to imply otherwise. My question was purely hypothetical and based on a previous thread. I did not get to read all of the responses so I don't know if the thread took a horribly wrong turn but I am sorry if it did. I really didn't consider the possibility that it had that potential. My bad.

I'm keeping mine too. He fed my horses today. He gets to stay.

Did it disappear?

I saw that we have a new no spouse bashing sticky.

Darn. I was just about to bash mine.

Just kidding. I like him just fine. :001_smile:

I like mine just fine too. Although he almost lost his head yesterday when he kept asking me "what's wrong?" because I was in such a bad mood yesterday. Today, I started my period a few days early. Mystery solved.

Mine is great! Never complains when I don't get the dishes done and never, ever under any circumstances criticizes me for taking a day off.

We just celebrated 12 years and I'd marry him again in a heartbeat!

Oh, don't you hate that? "Honey, you are really moody. And you have a lot of zits. And why are you eating so much chocolate? And why are swinging that cast iron pan toward my head?"

Mine just throws chocolate at me and runs away. Smart man.

Exactly! Sadly, mine did not recognize the signs yesterday. Poor thing.

Ouch, do I know that feeling! I wish I had a flashing light above my head - something to the effect of: "Warning! Hormones! Do not take any tears personally!"

And, for the record - mine's a serious keeper. Our personalities complement each other's so well - and it has been a privilege to watch how the Lord has grown him and deepened his faith as we've walked through a very difficult 3 years. May I never, never take him for granted!

My dh's pretty awesome, too. He's very handsome - he could be one of the "heroes" on my blog, except if you all voted for him I'd have to hunt you down and tell you to back off, LOL!

He's also smart. And funny. And hot. And....sigh...he watched most of Pride and Prejudice with me. What a man!

Yep, mine is a great one too!! Very supportive, helpful and kind. What more could a girl want?

I have to admit, I added his pic. to my blog today because, after I overhauled my blog and showed it to him, there were no pics. of him. So, today I added one with him doing what he loves best, coaching my ds's in basketball.

Great guy and great role model.

Just wanted to add my terrific husband to the list. We've been married almost 26 years and have been through thick and thin. He's always stayed by me and been my best friend. I know I'm a blessed woman.:)

Did you ever figure out what was causing the pain this weekend? Hope you're feeling better!

My husband is a man of integrity, hard-working, loyal, a good husband and father. He is also the only person more stubborn than I am - which I'm told is exactly what I need! :D

My dh is pretty great too. He brings me a beverage in bed in the morning and listens to me pontificate at length on all manner of subjects. He also puts up with my freakin' dysfunctional family and is wonderful with children. I respect his faith and his discipline.

What a great thread. :)

My husband is hard-working and currently dealing with a lot of work-related nonsense. He comes home and shuts it all off to be with his family, though.

My dh is the best friend I've ever had, and it's mutual. He thinks I'm a goddess (which I am :D so that proves he's also very smart!). He does oodles of housework when I'm swamped with other work so I don't have to be stressed by the mess. He will whip out my plan book and take over homeschooling for a day if I have to be gone or I'm sick. He cooks Sunday brunch -- really, really good brunch, too. I could go on and on. The tall, dark and handsome part is just icing on a very yummy cake. :001_wub:

At this point he is thinking that it couldn't possibly be from kidney stones because there are no more present and I shouldn't still be having pain from a stone passed a week ago.

Gall bladder problems is one possibility and a pretty likely one at that. My brother just had his removed four months ago and I guess those problems can be heriditary. They are going to do this HIDA test or scan or what-ever tomorrow.

The other possibility is GERD but I have a really hard time believing that could be the problem as I don't have any chest or stomach pain. The pain is definitely centered over my right kidney and I have had blood in my urine the last two times they checked and I don't see how that could be related.

Hopefully I will get some answers tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for asking.
